Editorial policy for tutorial listings
Song Tutorial Videos is built around usefulness for learners. The goal is to list tutorials that clearly help someone learn a song or arrangement on a supported instrument.
Tutorial selection
Submitted videos should be public YouTube tutorials, lessons, walkthroughs, covers with teaching value, or similar educational song-learning videos. Videos that are unrelated to learning an instrument may be removed.
Duplicate handling
The site checks YouTube video IDs before adding a tutorial. If the same video already exists, the existing lesson page is reused instead of creating duplicate listings.
Metadata and corrections
Song and artist information is inferred from the YouTube title, while users choose the instrument and difficulty. Admin users can correct difficulty labels and remove videos that are broken, duplicated, unrelated, or not useful for learners.
